The installation of the gutter guard begins by thoroughly cleaning everything out of the gutters.
All the debris and/or mud is usually scooped out of the gutters and put into sacks. Then we go around with a leaf blower and blow out any remnants of dust etc. Finally we hose the gutters out and make sure they are 100% free of any debris, and that the downpipes from the gutter to the ground are free of anything, and the water is flowing properly.
Next the mesh gets attached to the front lip of the gutter. We screw a colourbond ‘angle trim’ (which matches the colour of the existing gutter in order to blend in,) down over the mesh and into the front lip of the gutter. The other side of the mesh goes over the first row of tiles, and gets secured onto the roof by the tucking it under the second row of tiles. This seals the gutter system from any debris entering and blocking the gutters.
We can also mesh over tile valleys if situation calls for it, to keep them from blocking up.
